I believe that the journey to well-being begins from within.

My mission is to provide you with a supportive space where you can explore your inner landscape, develop tools to effectively cope with anxiety, set and achieve personal goals, and live life according to your values.

To facilitate this, I combine the framework of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with the wisdom of great teachers such as Alan Watts, Eckhart Tolle, Gabor Mate, Brene Brown, and others, with the aim of helping you transform your relationship with yourself, others, and the world.

It would be an honour to have the opportunity to walk beside you and guide you through your journey of awareness, acceptance, and doing what matters, so you can live a more meaningful life.

What is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)?

As part of our common humanity, we all experience difficult and overwhelming thoughts and feelings. You may have noticed your mind wandering to the past, thinking about moments that have already happened, wishing you could change them, or to the future, worrying about what might happen, which brings feelings of uncertainty and anxiety.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based approach based on the idea that struggling with those thoughts and feelings can often amplify them, and actually make them worse. If we become absorbed by these private experiences we can detour from our desired path, moving us away from engagement and connection with the world around us, the people we love, and the things that make life meaningful.

 

Instead of trying to avoid or control these uncomfortable thoughts and feelings, ACT teaches us how to change our relationship with them, to one of acceptance and compassion. When we are able to hold them differently, we can better focus our attention and energy on doing the things that matter, and living a more meaningful life according to our values and goals.

Workshop: Path to Freedom: ACTing Through Anxiety

In this 4-week workshop you will learn practical tools and techniques to manage anxiety, and connect with others experiencing similar challenges

Mobile Counselling

Mobile counselling services provide you with personalized tools and in-person support, all from the comfort of your own home.

Location: Bracebridge, Ontario

Cost: $50 CAD per hour

Laptop Work

Online Counselling

Online counselling services provide you with the same valuable support and resources as mobile counselling, accessible from anywhere.

Location: Worldwide

Cost: $50 CAD per hour
